We believe in giving back to the community
The Ink Spot are involved in a number of community projects each year.
The Ink Spot currently employs in excess of 15 staff. We are committed to keeping jobs on the coast and supporting our local economy.
We also believe in getting involved with our local community. We work closely with a number of Sunshine Coast charities, clubs and sporting organisations.
Variety
The Inkspot has supported Variety by sponsoring a car in the QLD Variety Bash.
Variety Queensland is a charity dedicated to supporting children with a serious illness, disability, or disadvantage by way of providing much needed support and assistance within local communities, such as supplying medical equipment and services that are urgently required.
An impressive 14 million has been raised in the Queensland Bash since it began in 1990.
Wish list
The Inkspot has supported the Wishlist Foundation for a number of years.
Katie Rose Cottage
The Inkspot is a sponsor of the Katie Rose Cottage, a hospice dedicated to providing palliative care for terminally ill patients in an environment that is as aware and pain free as possible for patients in their last days while surrounded by their loved ones.
Give me 5 for kids
The Ink Spot Printers has been associated with “Give Me 5 For Kids” for the past 4 years. This year, over $200,000 was raised for the Nambour Hospital’s Children Ward.
We have a policy to support local charities and we do so by donating the printing of posters, raffle tickets, entry tickets and other promotional items at no cost to the charities involved.
Many of The Ink Spot employees have children of their own and we understand the need to support charities involved with our youth on the coast.
Sunshine Coast Children’s Therapy Centre
The Children’s Therapy Centre is based in Nambour. It makes a real difference to the lives of 65 moderate to severe physically and intellectually disabled children by assisting them to walk without being aided, feed or clothe him or herself or learn how to communicate.
The Ink Spot has been involved with the Centre since 2000. They offer support by providing printed material to help raise funds and continue their valuable work.
Daniel Morcombe Foundation
The Inkspot are proud supporters of The Daniel Morcombe Foundation. The Foundation is committed to teaching young children throughout Australia the importance of child safety.
